University of Valencia and its natural surroundings: Calderona Natural Park

Place: Casa de la Cultura de Estivella
The exhibition developed by the University of Valencia, with the support unit of Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, marks the tenth anniversary of the declaration of the Serra Calderona Natural Park. It consists of 21 panels made by the teaching and research staff from different departments of the University, as well as by technicians and other specialists of the Natural Park linked to this emblematic natural area of Valencia.
It is indeed a great multidisciplinary work, as it comprises the renowned values of its botany, fauna, landscape, agronomy, history and culture, etc. of this space, which extends through the city of Valencia and a significant part of the metropolitan area and its surroundings.
The Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, Jorge Hermosilla, stated the success of this exhibition, pioneer in the history of Serra Calderona, which is touring all the municipalities that make up the natural park.
Opening September 4, at 19 h.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-15 pm Tuesday and Thursday from 17 to 19:30 h
