The Traditional Festivities of the Valencian Territory

The inauguration will take place on 27 June at 19:00. This exhibition will be inaugurated along with the exhibition “Valencian Cultural Heritage”.

The exhibition “The Traditional Festivities of the Valencian Territory” aims at showing citizens the festive heritage enjoyed by the Valencian society. This initiative is born from the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation of the Universitat de València and is sponsored and supported by Caixa Popular and the Valencian Department for Education, Research, Culture and Sport of the Valencian Government, through the Directorate-General for Culture and Heritage.

Through the 35 walls that form the showing, elaborated by the Support Unit to the Office of the Vice-Principal, the reader will get to know the rich range of festive manifestations shared by Valencian people. From north to south, all regions are depicted.

  • From 20 june 2017 to 15 july 2017. Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday at 10:00 to 14:00.
  • From 20 june 2017 to 15 july 2017. Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday at 17:00 to 21:00.
