Valencia Anchor Station constitutes a robust meteorological station,
it gives measurements at different height and depth levels (atmosphere and ground). The main objectives are
to get energy fluxes on surface and other secondary meteorological parameters.
The station is mainly composed by two masts: the main mast, fifteen meters, contains conventional
meteorological sensors located at three heights 0,5 m, 2 m and 15 m, are
installed around of that mast, a soil heat plate and a temperature depth profile sensor. The station has in addition a evaporimeter and a
pluviometer. The secondary mast, two meters, is dedicated to measure
the four components of the radiation budget, incident SW, reflected SW, incident LW and emitted LW.
Next figure shows a instruments scheme of Valencia Anchor Station. More information about measured parameters
and sensors details, in the following Table.
The sensor photographies are available in the photographic gallery.
