The general objective of the project is to apply tDCS in elderly people with cognitive impairment in order to maintain some of the basic cognitive functions related to memory.

Carried out by the department of Developmental and Educational Psychology of the Universitat de València and funded by the Valencian Government.

TDCS is a non-invasive technique based on the enforcement of a constant low direct current delivered via two or more electrodes (anodal and cathodal) placed on different superficial zones of the head to send electricity to specific brain areas.
