On June 9, 2025, declared International Archives Day by UNESCO, the new website of the University of Valencia Archive is officially launched, a renewed digital space that facilitates access to documents and heritage collections through a search engine integrated into the Archive Portal.

The new platform offers comprehensive information about the Historical Archive and the Intermediate Archive, their functions, documentary collections they manage, and the services available to users. Additionally, the homepage provides personalized access based on user profiles — students, faculty, researchers, technical and administrative staff (PTGAS), and the general public — so that everyone can quickly find the resources and services that best suit their needs.

The website also includes updated news, links of interest, and archival resources that reinforce the Archive’s role as an integral part of the University of Valencia’s Library and Documentation Service (SBD). For this reason, the design incorporates a common menu shared with the rest of the SBD, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience.

With this initiative, the SBD reaffirms its commitment to preserving documentary heritage and making it accessible to the entire university community and society at large, thereby promoting research and cultural dissemination.
