TRAMEVIC (Transnational War-estafe Memories in East Asian Visual Culture) explores the transnational memories production from war in Eastern Asia through visual culture. The visual recalling processes of war-estafe are changing and fluid phenomena constantly aquiring new meanings.

A relevant topic nowadays since it includes unsolve issues still affecting the current international bonds and causing diplomatic tensions regularly in this region.

This project provides a transnational and multidisciplinar perspective focusing on the new and extensive use of images (films, series, animation, photography and more visual content) allowing to represent memories based on commonly traumatic experiences expanding farther than the national borders.
