
One more time, the University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) hosted last Wednesday, June 27th, at 18:00, the so-called prizes Premios Universidad-Sociedad. This is the XVIIth edition of the prizes, which were awarded to three different categories: Universitat de València, Companies and Institutions, and Teaching Excellence. The Universitat’s Principal, Esteban Morcillo, and the Valencian Government’s President, Alberto Fabra, attended the event. Fabra was appointed honorary chairman of the Foundation as well.
The following outstanding people attended the awards ceremony: the Universitat de València’s Principal, Esteban Morcillo, the President of the Valencian Government, Alberto Fabra, and the chairman of University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) and president of UV’s Social Council, Carlos Pascual. Some representatives of Universitat de València, business sector and administration sector also attended like José Vicente González, José Vicente Morata, Vicente Boluda, Rafael Aznar and the Valencian Ministers for Economy and Education, among others.
Awarded in the University and Companies categories.
This year’s awarded people in the companies category are BP Oil España (research and development), Registro Mercantil de Valencia (internships), and GH Electrotermia (cooperation’s trajectory).
In the Universitat de València category, those awarded with the prizes are lecturer Joan Bernabeu (to research and development), the master’s degree Máster en Intervención en las Dificultades del Aprendizaje (to the posgraduate training activity), and the technicians in the Unitat d’Innovació Educativa at Universitat de València (PAS category).
Regarding the awards in the teaching excellence category, those receiving the prizes are MªLuisa Ferrándiz from Facultat de Farmacia, María Iborra from Facultat d’Economia, Emilia Matallana from Facultat de Ciències Biològiques, Göran Rollnert from Facultat de Dret, Bernardino Salinas from Facultat de Magisteri, Mª Dolores Sancerni from Facultat de Psicologia, and Daniel Sánchez from Facultat de Medicina i Odontologia.

After the awards ceremony, the President of the Valencian Government, Alberto Fabra, became honorary chairman of University-Business Foundation over the course of an extraordinary meeting’s celebration.
