The Board of Trustees

The primary objective of the Board of Trustees, which represents the wider society at the Universitat de València, is to foster connections between the university and its economic, social and cultural environment.

We aim to facilitate a closer interaction between the UV and society at large through the implementation of various programmes and initiatives. Our ultimate goal is to identify the needs of the productive and social sectors in order to address them from the UV.

Our actions are guided by three core principles:

•    Promotion of research and innovation
•    Commitment to the quality of university studies
•    Entrepreneurship support 

We are a meeting point.
We are the UV Board of Trustees.

Our goals

   Promoting University-Society Collaboration

We carry out all those actions that contribute to build bridges between the University of Valencia and its economic, social and cultural environment.

   Adaptation of the training offer to the needs of society

We work to adapt university degrees to the professional and labour market and, therefore, to the needs of a society in constant change.

   Promotion of funding channels for the University

We promote the collaboration of the society in the financing of the University, channeling initiatives of economic support and patronage to the University.

    Promoting the culture of entrepreneurship

We believe in entrepreneurship as a powerful path to socioeconomic development and, therefore, we promote those programs and actions that contribute to the creation of new spin-offs.
