Create a risk documentation and cartography centre, available to governments (regional and local), regional parliaments, research centres and private entities.

Gather and disseminate research conducted at UV on issues related to climate change, environmental risks and ecological and energy transitions.

Respond to requests for information, documentation, or cartography from public and private stakeholders who may request it.

Promote institutional collaboration and make accessible to you the available information in:

1. local governments, the regional government and parliament, and the General State Administration
2. private stakeholders
3. other universities and research centers, especially those in the Iberian Mediterranean.

The Chair will work around the concept of the Mediterranean as a whole: all of the surrounding territory in the sea, independently of the continent or administrative area.

The effects and consequences of climate change over society in general will be studied, affecting the people to an individual and group level, also about the economy and the productive tissue of the territory and obviously its repercussions on the environment.

The environmental risks and danger that means to society and the nature of all environmental changes that there has been and that there could be, as well as the measures that can be taken.
