- The effects of exercise in type 1 diabetes. Studying the impact of different types of exercise (aerobic, HIIT and strength) on the physiology and metabolism of women and men with type 1 diabetes through short- and long-term interventions.
- Assessment and active approach of the patient with musculoskeletal pathology through telerehabilitation. This line of research aims to develop and/or validate tools that allow physiotherapists to carry out a functional assessment of their patients remotely and to implement exercise programmes aimed at musculoskeletal pathology.
- Functional clinimetry in physiotherapy. Develop and/or validate instruments to facilitate functional assessment of the patient and study the reliability and sensitivity to change of such instruments.
- Application of virtual reality in physiotherapy. The aim of this line of research is to examine the uses and effectiveness of virtual reality in different areas of physiotherapy, both in the exploration of the patient and in its implementation as an active approach in different pathologies.
