CuAtLab (Copper in Arabidopsis thaliana Lab)

Presentation

Copper is an essential micronutrient for virtually all living organisms but it is toxic when in excess. Our laboratory aims to decipher how the higher plant Arabidopsis thaliana, transports, distributes and utilizes this metal, and investigates how plant cells regulate gene expression to properly respond to Cu deficiency or excess. We use a multidisciplinary approach, which includes Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Genetic methods.
