The Francisco Climent Archive is a private archive with a particular documentary and photographic collection that goes from 1808 to 1960. It happened due to the two sectors that monopolized the company La Maquinista Valenciana throughout its history: tobacco machinery and maritime and aerial signage. In addition, there are some other events worth mentioning: statue melting, such as the James I one, the construction of metallic structures for bridges, like the bridge of Alzira, and endless precision machinery for different industrial fields such as press, pharmacy, etc.
The collection of the company includes around 1.200 documents, most of which are photographs and catalogues, and it is divided in chronological order following the evolution of the different social reasons of the firm, as stablished in the organicity criteria, and attending in each era to their productive sectors.
