Digipol members present a paper paper and chair a panel

Adrià Mompó and Oscar Barberà have joined the Norface Governance final conference, titled “Democratic Governance in a Turbulent Age”, held in Viena between the 14th and the 16th of february 2024.

14 research projects financed by Norface Governance have shared their investigations throughout the event, with key topics such as data-driven campaigns, misinformation, polarisation and the democratic challenges of the digital era. The complete program can be found in this link.

On the side of DIGIPOL, Mompó and Barberà have presented their project about data-use for campaigning by Spanish non-statewide parties, named “Digital Driven Campaigns in Spain? Tempative evidences from regional parties”. Oscar Barberà has also chaired the panel “Media, AI, Misinformation”
