He joins as Margarita Salas researcher at the UV while is also associate reserarcher at the UCL (ESPOL)

F. Ramón Villaplana, a researcher from the University of Murcia, will undertake a one-year postdoctoral stay (2024) affiliated with the Digitalization and Politics research group, following two previous years at the prestigious European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL) at the Catholic University of Lille.

Villaplana's project is titled "The Transformations of Political Parties in the Digital Age" and is supervised by professors Oscar Barberà and Giulia Sandri. The research is funded by the Margarita Salas excellence program, with support from NextGenerationEU and the Spanish Ministry of Universities.

Ramón Villaplana's most recent works have been published in Party Politics, Frontiers in Political Science and the Revista de Estudios Políticos.
