Selection criteria.
Admission criteria:
Selection will be determined by the Academic Committee of the Doctoral
Programme. Handed merits will be analysed and stabliseh based on the following
criteria:
1.- Average mark on the academic report for the undergraduarte and postgraduate degrees which allow entrying the doctoral programme (60%)
According to what the ROYAL DECREE 1125/2003, from 5 September, the average mark on the academic
report of each student will be the outcome of applying the following formula: addition of
the student’s obtained credits multiplied by the
corresponding qualification’s value, and divided by the number of total credits obtained by the student. The results
obtained by the student in each of the courses in the curriculum will be qualified according
to the numeric scale from 0 to 10, with expression
2.-Researching activities (10%)
Researching experience will be marked, counting published articles, communications
at congresses and participation and collaboration in research projects
3.- Interest and motivation (30%)
Development of a brief report (20%)
Interview (10%)
Both parts will determine the student’s motivation to access the program as well as the visibility and
disposition of time to fulfil the requirements stablished for the programme. Similarly,
the interview and detailed analysis of the curriculum will allow assessment and direction of the training
activities which may be most accurate depending on the student’s profile.
