Nieves Concostrina has been balancing journalism and literature for years now. She studied Information Sciences in the Complutense University of Madrid and got professional experience at the Diario 16 between 1981 and 1997, while later worked in Antena 3 and Vía Digital. Since 1997 she is chief editor of the Adiós journal.

As a journalist she has collaborated in Radio 5 Todo Noticias, from the Spanish National Radio, and in M80. Since January 2013, she collaborates during the afternoons at the Cadena SER, in the programme La Ventana, led by Carles Francino. As of today, a section titled "Acontece, que no es poco” is broadcasted from Mondays to Thursday.
