Goals

To deal with research problems of socio-educational nature about arts and culture via the connections made by different knowledge areas.
To research and intervene in the design, development and evaluation of teaching practices in arts and culture, moving towards a more fair social construct, at different ages and social contexts, as well as formal and informal teaching environments.
To research in depth the bases over which art build knowledge through artistic thinking and acting, on its multiple ways of expression.
To develop art based educational research methodologies of interdisciplinary nature.
To asses and carry out training activities about arts and culture together with social agents, collectives, NGDOs, associations, cultural spaces, CEFIRE and other organisms.
To promote the production of TFG, TFM and doctoral theses, to generate (teaching contents, congresses talks, paper publications) and transfer (events, congresses, artistic exhibitions...) of knowledge about teaching in the arts and culture towards a more fair social construction.
