Online activity aimed at health professionals, 31 May between 4:00pm and 6:00pm

On 31 May, between 4:00pm and 6:00pm, the EVES - GSK - UV Chair will offer the Online Masterclass “Fact-Checking in the health field”. The main objectives of this activity are to detect fake news and knowing how to check the authenticity of the information appearing in different media and social networks.   

With the participation of professionals such as Guillermo Infantes Capdevila (@guincap_), editor of the verification team at Newtral and Laura García Merino (@LauraGMerino), editor and coordinator of Maldita Ciencia (Maldita.es). The event will be moderated by Dr Elena Casado Pineda (@medicilio), specialist in Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy as well as medical communicator.

In order to assist, you’ll simply have to enter Teams at 4:00pm on Wednesday, 31 May and enjoy the presentations of Newtral, Maldita and Dr Elena Casado. A small discussion and round of questions will also take place towards the end of the activity, so that you can ask the speakers any doubt you might have.
