L'equip de la Càtedra d'Exercici Físic i Càncer Infantil va presentar el dia 2 de setembre de 2025 el seu projecte de recerca en un meeting del grup de treball de la International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP).
The invitation to participate in this meeting was the perfect opportunity to share scientific advances with reference professionals in the international field of paediatric oncology.
The SIOP was founded in 1969 and its a multidisciplinary global medical society that gathers several professionals such as doctors, nurses and other health specialists. Its aim is to improve attention and knowledge on child cancer. It is the only international organization exclusively dedicated to this issue.
During the meeting, they show the Chair’s objectives and methodology as well as a real case.
The participation enabled to exchange experiences, establish links with other international research groups working in the same area.
With this meetings and collaborations, the Chair continues to improve its commitment to enhancing the quality of life of paediatric cancer patients.
Our presence at SIOP places us within an international network of reference, strengthening our scientific partnerships and the positive impact it has on paediatric patients in oncology treatment.
