The objective of this volunteer program, organized by the Spanish committee of UNHCR Valencian Community, with the support of Sedi (Information and Dynamization Service of the UV), is to provide knowledge, guidelines and tools to autonomously implement actions, initiatives and awareness campaigns that especially affect the causes and consequences of the forced displacement of people, migration, racism and xenophobia.
The selected FORTHEM Alliance students will work, between 9 and 13 December 2024, with UV students in the design of these initiatives, and they will contribute to the construction of host societies free of xenophobia. Each participant will become an agent of transformation for global justice.
There are three FORTHEM scholarships available for students from the eight FORTHEM partner universities.
