Professional attitudes in care: hospitality, presence and compassion

In charge of Enric Benito Oliver. Doctor in Medicine and master's degree in Palliative care.

Enric Benito (Mallorca, 1949) got his degree in Medicine by the University of Zaragoza in 1972. He specialised in Medical Oncology at the Sant Pau hospital in Barcelona in 1976 and got his doctorate in Medicine by the University of Barcelona in 1990. He got his master's degree in Palliative care from the University of Barcelona in 2000. He has been coordinator of the Palliative Care Unit of the Virgen de la Salud hospital and the Joan March hospital in Mallorca from 1999 to 2009. Coordinator of the Autonomic Programme of Palliative Care of the Balearic Islands between 2010 and 2017 and coordinator of the SECPAL Spirituality Group between 2006 and 2015. He is honorary member of the SECPAL since 2014.
