Els Tornejants, Nova Muixeranga d’Algemesí and Colla de Dolçaines i Percussió UV
Els tornejants will do one of the most symbolic dances of the Virgen de la Salud festivities of Algemesí, a performance representing a war dance, the most visible and representative side of the devotion of the people to their patron, the tradition of a town which, generation after generation, has managed to maintain and preserve it since the beginning of the 17th century.
The Nova Muixeranga, with its human towers, showcases the value of coexistence of the Algemesí people. They do muixerangues with the firm willpower of thriving and resisting as an open, progressive and egalitarian town.
The Colla de dolçaines i percussió of the Universitat de València is an association made up of students with the goal of becoming a stable, representative and innovative association within the field of traditional music, always from a training perspective.
