The Green Horizon Chair: Water-Bioenergy Nexus is participating as a silver sponsor in the 1st IWA-YWP Iberoamerican Conference 2026, which will take place from 27 to 30 October at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Madrid.
Organised by YWP Spain, partnered with various entities in the water industry, the congress will gather young professionals, researchers, companies and other agents in the industry in order to address the main challenges and opportunities related to water management, wastewater treatment and reuse, resource recovery, digitalisation, and climate change adaptation.
The participation of the Green Horizon Chair is defined by its commitment to the generation knowledge, to the partnership with the university and company and to the transfer of innovative solutions in the water and bioeconomy field. Moreover, the silver sponsorship will reinforce the visibility of the Chair in an international meeting and favour new relationships among researchers, professionals and entities in the industry.
One of the key elements of the participation will be theinvolvement of the Chair in the organisation of the Water Chairs Meeting, an initiative incorporated within the programme of the congress which allows the sharing of experiences, activities and partnerships developed by the various chairs linked to the water industry.
