I am a Vice Dean and an Associate Professor of the School of Engineering at the University of Valencia (Excellence in Education Award) and a Research Fellow of the Laboratory for Agent Based Social Simulation (Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies) at the Italian National Research Council. I received my PhD (Doctoral Dissertation Award), MSc and BSc in Computer Science from the University of Valencia, from where I also received my BSc in Telecommunications.
My main research interests are agent-based modelling/simulation, machine learning and data analysis/visualization. I am the Director of the Capgemini-UV Chair in innovation in software development and the Vice Chair of the PEERE: New Frontiers of Peer Review COST Action. I am a board member of the Catalan Association for Artificial Intelligence and of the Association for the study of Socio Technical Complex Systems.
