Abstracts

All registered participants who would like to present their work as an oral contribution or a poster are invited to submit an abstract until June 10^th, 2020, using the word template provided below, to ismec2020@uv.es. The number of slots for oral presentations is limited; should the number submitted exceed the number of slots available, the Scientific Committee will select which of them will be presented orally.

Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 2 pages. Please use the provided Word template without changing the format.

All abstracts for either oral or poster presentations will be peer-reviewed by the Local Scientific Committee for their acceptance. The notification of acceptance for oral presentations will be emailed by June 20^th, 2020. Each participant can submit only one abstract and full payment of the registration fee is required for acceptance.

Guidelines for Oral Contributions

The length of the different contributions at ISMEC 2020 are:

• Plenary lectures (PL): 50 min + 10 min for discussions
• Keynote lectures (KN): 25 min + 5 min for discussions
• Oral presentations (OP): 12 min + 3 min for discussions

We kindly ask all the presenters to keep their talk strictly within the scheduled timetable.

PowerPoint files with oral presentations should be given on site to the organizers as early as possible, latest before the first lecture on the day of the talk. If any specific facility should be required, please contact the conference secretariat in advance.

Guidelines for Poster Contributions

The maximum posters size should be A0 (841 × 1189 mm or 33.11 × 46.81 in) in portrait orientation (landscape posters will not be accepted).

We encourage all presenting authors to put a picture of themselves in a upper corner of the poster. The quick identification of the author will favour scientific discussions.

Each abstract will be assigned a poster number that will be communicated to the presenting author. Posters will be permanently exposed, during the meeting. The material to hang the posters on wooden panels will be provided.
