he Faculty of Teacher Training of the University of Valencia will host, on November 13th, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the presentation day of the EVEREST Project.
The event will begin with a welcome session led by the project coordinators, Vladímir Martínez Belló and María del Mar Bernabé Villodre.
Next, there will be two round tables addressing the needs and opportunities of the Valencian rural environment and of rural schools. The first session will feature experts such as Jorge Hermosilla Pla and Emilio Barba Campos, directors of the AVANT Chair (Valencian Anti-Depopulation Agenda), as well as representatives from the Palancia Mijares Rural Development Center and academics including José Vega Perona (geographer) and Diego García Monteagudo (professor).
The second round table will include teachers and specialists such as Antonio Pérez Sabater (Cefire of Xàtiva), Roser Boix Tomás (University of Barcelona), and Javier Castillo (University of Zaragoza).
The event will conclude with a final discussion and a farewell coffee, encouraging the exchange of ideas among attendees.
