The university student card of student’s status. With it you can access the different services of the University.
Uses
The card includes the following academic applications:
- Card holder identification
- Accessing facilities
- Accesing Virtual Secretaries:
- Checking academic transcript
- Checking qualificactions
- Adaptations
- Group change requestes
- Checking available courses for the academic year
- Requesting certificates and fee payments
- Reserving computers in computer romos
- Booking sports facilities
You can also access Virtual Secretary services by going to the email web page of the University of Valencia, with a valid email user ID.
New student cards of replacement of damaged and lost cards will become virtual only.
The virtual card will be available on:
* UV Mobile App
* cuentas.uv.es (‘my university card’)
* secretaria virtual (general menu, ‘check card’)
This virtual card can be used for library book circulation or access to the Sports Service turnstile using the bar code.
The virtual generation process for students without a university card: they must upload a picture with the 'upload picture' option in the virtual secretary students menu. The card will be valid from that moment.
IMPORTANT: Students can't generate a card without a picture.
For students with a physical card who want to change their picture for the virtual card (physical card will not be emitted anymore), must still go to a centre. The card will be updated immediately and available in the three previously mentioned systems.
