On 16 and 17 July, the UV’s International Centre of Gandia will host the summer course ‘Innovation in journalism in an era of information disorder’. The event is intended for communication professionals, researchers and educators with an interest in the current dynamics of journalism and the challenges it faces in the context of disinformation.
Over two days, the course will comprise conferences and panel discussions led by esteemed experts in the fields of media and technology. The event will start with a conference entitled Standard model of (dis)information, after which there will be a series of detailed discussions on information disorder and educational and technological solutions. The second day will concentrate on changes in information consumption, new formats in journalism and the applications of Artificial Intelligence in journalism. Experts from various universities and representatives of innovative companies in the sector will participate in these discussions.
The course will be held at the International Centre of Gandia, located at Carrer del Tossal, 8 (46701, Gandia, València). The registration fee is 10 euros, representing a unique opportunity to access a programme of such a high calibre.
