
This Friday, 19 January 2024, at 18:00, Dr Luis Moya Albiol will present his new book ¿Necesito ayuda psicológica? Cómo y dónde encontrarla (‘Do I need psychological help? How and where to find it’).
There will be a colloquium on the publication and the event will be attended by: Maria Vicenta Mestre Escrivà, Principal of the Universitat de València, Antonia Pérez Marín, Associate Professor of the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatment (Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy), Pilar Sierra San Miguel, Permanent Psychiatry Professor at the UV (Department of Medicine) and Thäis Capilla, journalist, psychologist and Director of the PSYKE General Health Psychology Centre.
The book ¿Necesito ayuda psicológica? Cómo y dónde encontrarla (‘Do I need psychological help? How and where to find it’) offers some basic guidelines that allow the reader to reflect on whether they need professional help, regardless of their educational background. “Because mental health matters”.

Dr Luis Moya Albiol is a Full University Professor of Psychobiology at the UV. He holds a doctoral degree in Psychology and was awarded an Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the UV. He is the author of the books Escucha tu cerebro, La empatía en la empresa, La empatía and Educar en la empatía. He is a distinguished populariser of science on television, radio, specialised magazines and in the press. He is also a member of the Neurolaw Research Group at the UV.
