
Registration is now open for the International Neurolaw Congress, which will be held in November at the Rector Peset Hall of Residence
The Neurolaw Research Group at the University of Valencia is organising the I International Neurolaw Congress. This event will be held on 26 and 27 November 2026 in the Assembly Hall of the Rector Peset Hall of Residence in Valencia.
The congress, under the title "Legal Challenges before Technological Innovations", is expected to gather national and international specialists in order to address the challenges that are posed to the legal system by technological advances.
The event is sponsored by the Generalitat Valenciana (the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport) and the Faculty of Law at the University of Valencia.

GIN Neurolaw Research Group UV
The Neurolaw Research Group, Grup d'Investigació Neuroderecho (GIN), at the University of Valencia, is led by Dr. José Manuel Sánchez Patrón, a professor of international law. GIN is a multidisciplinary group that studies the intersection between neurosciences, neurotechnologies, and law. The group's work covers different topics such as neurolaw as new barrier to human rights and the legal challenges that are posed by artificial intelligence and cognitive technologies, with a frequent presence at national and international forums.
