The PROMEDyA research group is dedicated to the development of methodologies that, based on time series prediction and spatio-temporal modelling, allow the incorporation of uncertainty in different areas of planning and management of complex systems.

The research group’s main focus is in the field of Health and Life sciences, but they have also applied the results of their research in the fields of Economics and Industry.

The group’s experience in designing and using statistical tools to incorporate uncertainty, whether as a point or interval prediction, as an estimate of the parameters of a model, incorporating longitudinal data and using a state space model, allows them to work with models from many different domains, as can be seen throughout the group’s career history.
