Ciclo Adicciones, a conference series on addictions will take place in the Principal Peset Hall of Residence (Plaza Horno San Nicolás, 4) on Thursday, 22 February 2024.

The series are organised by the FISABIO Chair of the Universitat de València and the QUAES Foundation Chair of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

FIRST SESSION. THE ADDICTED BRAIN.

Speaker:

Dr Marta Rodríguez Arias, Full Professor of Psychobiology of the Universitat de València. Specialist in the study of the neurobiological bases of drug addiction and member of the Research Network on Primary Health Care in Addiction (RIAPAd) of the Carlos III Health Institute.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with President of the Socidrogalcohol Scientific Society Dr Francisco Pascual and Director of the Regional Office for Mental Health and Addiction of the Valencian Community Dr Bartolomé Pérez Gálvez.

The debate will be moderated by Dr Andrés Moya, Full Professor of Genetics of the Universitat de València.
