A commission of ITS Spain, led by its Secretary General, Jaime Huerta, and with the participation of Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS and Director of ITS Spain, has presented the ITS Spain 2021 Award to the QR Single Ticket for Metrobus developed by the Department of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility of the Valencian Regional Government, in a ceremony held on September 13, 2021 at the headquarters of this Department.

The award, which was received by the Councilor for Public Works, Transport and Mobility, Arcadio España, is a recognition of the efforts of the Metropolitan Transport Authority of Valencia (ATMV) to adapt to new payment platforms, advancing in the digitization of the public transport system.

This system allows, through the E-mobil-ity APP, to purchase a single ticket from any origin and for all destinations in the metropolitan area of Valencia, at the same cost as with cash, and facilitates the use of public transport via cell phone.
