Conference on Education, gender and health: an open science approach to address social challenges

The conference will address education, gender and health from the approach of open science, scientific activity and the gender perspective as mechanisms to respond to social challenges.

This activity is part of the line of work of the Health and Social Information and Research Unit (UISYS), to which the researchers of the Universitat de València who request it belong, and is aligned with the priority Social Challenges described in the Europe 2020 Strategy (https://www.horizonteeuropa.es/anteriores-programas/h2020/retos-sociales), specifically with the challenge 1. Health, demographic change and well-being, and with the challenge 6. Europe in a changing world: Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies.

The aim of the activity is to respond to the social challenges in accordance with the three pillars established in the Horizon Europe program: Excellent Science; Global Challenges; Innovative Europe.

The conference will address education, gender and health from the approach of open science, scientific activity and gender perspective as mechanisms to respond to social challenges, taking into consideration research and innovation methodologies developed in a scenario of scientific excellence. Specifically, the clusters of Health (cluster 1), Culture, creativity and inclusive society (cluster 2), and finally Digital world, industry and space (cluster 4), of the Global Challenges of Horizon Europe, will be discussed in depth.
