On Thursday 26 February, the cycle Gandia Pensa comes back with a special guest: the astronaut and researcher Sara García Alonso, the first woman to be selected for the Astronaut Reserve of the European Space Agency, and one of the most renowned scientific voices in our country.

Under the title 'Repensar el espacio. Sí a la ciencia' ('Rethink about space. Say yes to science'), Sara García will speak about research, dissemination, and the path that took her from the laboratory to the space on Friday 26 February at 19:30 h at the Serrano Theatre. The event will be hosted by the journalist Sergi Pitarch, editor of eldiario.es in the Valencian Community. At the end, he will sign copies of his first book, Òrbites.
Gandia Pensa is an initiative promoted by Gandia City Council, along with the UV Chair Joan Noguera, the CEIC Alfonso el Viejo and the General Directorate for Books of the Ministry of Culture, coordinated by Àngels Gregori.
From the Chair Joan Noguera we still bet on spaces for dialogue and critical thinking, close to citizens. This is an essential date for those people who believe in science, culture, and future.
Free entrance until full capacity.
