The Territory Observatory of the Chair of Territory Thinking Joan Noguera is an online platform openly showing the results of the complete analysis of the territory.
Its goal is to create and gather reports, graphics and data to be collected in this, as well as all the links linked to it.
They analyse, among other things, the labour sectors (primary, secondary and tertiary), the unemployment and spending or rents.
They analyse data directly related to the composition of society and its evolution, as well as the evolution of population or its structure by age and gender. It can even refer to the services used by co-existing people, such as health, sport, social, cultural or educational services.
The city is surrounded by natural spaces (some of them protected, like the Marjal from la Safor, the Auir, the Natural Park of the Montdúver or the Parpalló-Borrell area) and the relations between these natural resources and its inhabitants generate tensions and problems that are analysed, evaluated and, if necessary, dealt with.
The indicator’s environmental approach is closely related with the Sustainable Development Goals indicated in the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations (SDG-2030 Agenda).
