Erasmus students arrive for the second semester

On Monday, January20th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., and 11:30 a.m , welcome sessions are scheduled for incoming mobility students in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

It is planned that 971 mobility Erasmus students will join the University of Valencia in January for a mobility stay in this second term of the 2024-25 academic year.

In order to welcome them, the International Relations Service organizes face-to-face welcome sessions that will be the students' first contact with the University. Our University will be made known and information will be provided about the activities, facilities and services they can enjoy during their stay. At the sessions, students will also receive the Certificate of Arrival with the date of joining the UV.

The active participation of various University services is planned through information stands. The Sports Service and the Languages Services have confirmed their presence. Also the Language Center, UV discapacidad and the Libraries and Documentation Service have stands to inform students.

This activity also has the collaboration of the Erasmus student association ESN (Erasmus Students Network).

The action is complemented by specific orientation sessions organized by the faculties of the University of Valencia.

The University of Valencia continues to be the European leader in the reception of Erasmus students. Apart from the 971 "incoming" Erasmus students, 72 students from non-European universities join our University as part of the international mobility program. Students from the United States, Canada, South America, China, Korea or Japan will join our university within this program. It is also planned to welcome 19 students from other Spanish universities that participate in the SICUE mobility program.

In the Erasmus program, Italy, Germany and France are, in that order, the countries that send the most students to continue their studies at our institution.

Erasmus students include 65 students from the other 9 European universities that are part of the "FORTHEM" alliance of European universities.Specific activities will be held with the aim of promoting their cultural and social integration.
