
In its 2022 edition, the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain has awarded to Juan Francisco Albert Moreno for his thesis “Monetary policy and inequality from an inclusive and social banking perspective” .. CONGRATULATIONS
Juan Francisco, currently Assistant Doctor in the Department of Applied Economics, defended his thesis on the distributive effects of monetary policy in 2021, within the doctoral program in Social Economics (Cooperatives and Non-Profit Entities), under the direction of the Department professors Rafael Chaves and Carlos Ochando.
During the completion of his PhD, he was a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and at De Nederlandsche Bank.
In addition to the prize now awarded to him by the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain, his work has also been recognized with the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize awarded by the University of Valencia, and by the second Edgard Milhaud 2022 prize from CIRIEC International.
