Rubén Amo Cifuentes is currently working as a pre-doctoral researcher in training (FPU) in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia. He is also a PhD student in the Industrial Economics programme at the University of Valencia. He collaborates with the research group Public Economic Evaluation (EvalPub) and the Chair of Autonomous Taxation, both at the University of Valencia.

Rubén holds a degree in Economics from the University of Valencia, having received the Extraordinary Degree Award 2020. He has also completed a Master in Economic Policy and Public Economics at the University of Valencia. His line of research is based on Public Economics and Fiscal Federalism, specifically on impact assessment and microsimulation of wealth taxes.

Maja Barac has a solid academic background in economics. She completed her studies with a degree in Economics at the Universitat de València, ranking 7th out of 205 students with a grade of 8,49. Subsequently, she furthered her education with an Official Master's Degree in Industrial Economics at the same institution, where she received the extraordinary prize for her outstanding performance. Economic policy, public policy evaluation and international economic policy: She has addressed various topics from the perspective of economic policy including instrumental policies at national or EU level, economic policies and the labour market, economic policy evaluation, economic policy in India and South Africa, the origins of academic economic policy in Spain or stability programmes, among others. The results of her research have been published in several book chapters in leading publishers such as Aranzadi and Tirant lo Blanc. Her publications also include articles in the Eastern European Countryside, Sociologia del Lavoro or International Review of Economic Policy, as well as several contributions to international conferences.

4. Imperfect competition, oligopolies and internationalisation strategies via exports and FDI: Her doctoral thesis and several publications analyse internationalisation strategies under demand uncertainty and imperfect competition, with publications in journals such as Industrial Economics, Managerial and Decision Economics, Bulletin of Economic Research and The Manchester School. Co-authored with the thesis supervisor, Professor Rafael Moner-Colonques.

Her teaching experience spans more than a decade at the Universitat de València, where she has taught economics subjects at undergraduate and master's level. Her pedagogical approach is characterised by the integration of innovative technologies and methodologies, such as the use of clickers and virtual platforms for the continuous and participative evaluation of students. Such is her involvement in the area that it has led to a very prolific line of research.

She has held various management roles at the Universitat de València, contributing significantly to academic organisation and administration. She has been President of the Academic and Cultural Activities Committee of the Department of Applied Economics, where she managed and allocated budgets for cultural and academic activities, organising seminars, conferences and workshops. In addition, she is an elected member of the Faculty Board and the Senate of the University of Valencia, representing the Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) in several committees, participating in decision-making and strategic planning of the faculty. She has also supervised review proposals as Coordinator of the Review Section of the quarterly publication "Noticias de Política Económica", ensuring the quality and relevance of the publications. She has also been a member of various departmental committees, such as the Examination Challenge Committee and the Examination Custody Committee, where she has contributed to the resolution of academic disputes and the improvement of assessment procedures. PhD from Universitat Politècnica de València, with Bachelor of Science Degree & MSc in Mathematics (Universitat de València, Faculty of Mathematics), upper degree in Telecommunications Engineering - MSc (Universitat Politècnica de València) and Enterprise MBA (Accenture, USA). He has received national and international awards such as Winner of the Mathematical Olympiads or Best National STEM Project (ebusiness area); and management awards of different projects in the field of R&D from different universities in Spain. Concerning to his career, notably their occupation into High Performance Department in Accenture, highlighting his final position in management of Processes & Strategy Department in the company, where he achieved and held the chair of eBusiness Area. Since then, he coordinated and participated in a wide range of EU funded research projects like INTEROP (interoperability networks), SMARTV2G (Smart Grids), MOBINCITY (smart mobility, IA integrated), FISPACE (into FIWARE group), AAL (Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme) iCareCoops (Fostering Care Cooperatives in Europe by building an Innovative Platform with AAL-Driven Services) and ELIAI (Elderly Living Independently Ambient Intelligence), having a patent (CAPPD) on it. In addition to this, he held the position as Innovation Consulting Manager in Stratesys and head of the Research, Innovation & Development Area for CIT Group & associated startups,  Expert Member of European Commission (EC - Id EX2013D133553) and member of the Advisory Board of ISRLab - Information society Research Lab. He has been professor on MBA in University Jaume I of Castellón, lecturer in many Master's like MDE in University of Zaragoza, coordinator of eLearning platform for Universitat de València and IVEX and Quality & Process Manager for R&D Valencia Hospital, among many other interesting experiences in his career.

Nerea Gómez is an Assistant Professor in the Applied Economics Department of the University of Valencia. She has a PhD in Statistics from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Cum Laude) with international mention (London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom). Her doctoral thesis was awarded the 1st Youth Chair prize for the best doctoral thesis on youth issues in Spain.

Previously, she studied the Degree in Economics (UV and Universität Heidelberg) being awarded by the Ministry of Universities with the National End of Degree Award for University Education in the field of Social Sciences. She then completed the Master's Degree in Applied Economics (Universidad de Alicante) and the Master's Degree in Teacher Training (UNED).

She is a member of the Public Economic Evaluation research group (EvalPub) and of the Cátedra of Autonomous Taxation. Her main areas of research are the Economics of Education and applied macroeconomics, highlighting the following lines: determinants of academic performance, use of ICT in the educational field and application of statistical techniques for the evaluation of the economic and social effects of policies. macroeconomics. Rafael Granell, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Economics of the University of Valencia. He is the Director of the Public Economic Evaluation research group (EvalPub), a member of the Chair of Regional Taxation and of the Commission for the Study of Tax Reform in the Valencian Region and a researcher at RIFDE. His area of ​​research focuses on Public Economics, highlighting the following lines: economics of taxation, regional economics, fiscal federalism, poverty and inequality, economics of education and public economic evaluation.
