Rosa María Yagüe Perales holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valencia (1996), where she also obtained her Degree in (1988). Her academic background focuses on quantitative methods applied to economics, with an increasing specialization in the management and planning of the tourism sector.

She carries out her teaching activity at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia as a associate professor in the Department of Applied Economics (Area of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business). She mainly teaches at postgraduate level and plays a key role in the Official Master’s Degree in Tourism Management and Planning, where she coordinates core courses such as:

· Use of Indicators for Measuring Tourism Activity.

· Sustainable Tourism Development in Local Areas.

· Academic Writing and Research Techniques.

· Supervision of Master’s Theses (TFM) and External Internships.

Research activity: She is the director of the Research Group on Public Tourism Management (GIUV2018-428) at the University of Valencia. Her research activity is prolific and multidisciplinary. Her main research lines include:

· Sustainable tourism and heritage: analysis of the tourism use of cultural and industrial heritage (such as the Silk Road or the Royal Factory of l’Alcora).

· Entrepreneurship, innovation: studies on startup accelerators, gender issues in business (glass ceiling) and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

· Quantitative methods: application of econometric models and techniques such as fsQCA to assess business growth and the impact of science parks.

She has published numerous articles in high-impact international journals such as Drug Discovery Today, Sustainability, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, European Journal of Management and Business Economics and Annals of Tourism Research.

Knowledge transfer: She maintains close links with the Valencian socio-economic environment through transfer projects and participation in strategic bodies of the Valencian Community, including:

· Design of Master Plans for Industrial Tourism (l’Alcora, Sagunto).

· Regional tourism studies for the Provincial Council of Valencia and the Provincial Tourism Board (Hoya de Buñol, Vall d’Albaida, etc.).

· Development of innovation diagnostic tools for the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).

· Active participation in forums and conferences (FORTUR-VLC, Mesval) and collaboration with institutional chairs.

· Independent board member of the Valencian Institute of Finance (IVF) (2020-2023).

· Member of the Governing Board of the Valencian Media Corporation (CVMC) (2019-2025).

· Trustee of the Bancaja Foundation (2013-2025) and member of the Étnor Foundation and the Adeit-Empresa Foundation, representing the Bancaja Foundation.

University management at the University of Valencia: In the field of institutional management and representation, she has held senior positions such as:

· Co-director of the Official Master’s Degree in Tourism Management and Planning (since 2024).

· Coordinator of the first year of the Degree in Tourism.

· Coordinator of the Degree in Tourism (2010-2012).

· Active member of academic and teaching innovation committees (CEPE, CCA).

· Secretary of the Faculty of Economics (2012-2015).

· Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics (2015-2018).

Joaquín Díaz Boils is a Doctor in Algebra and professor at the Department of Applied Economics of the University of Valencia since 2022. He has carried out research in various fields: Theory of Categories, Theory of Computability, Applied Mathematics, Didactics of Mathematics, Topology and recent development in Statistics. His works have been published, among others, in the following journals: Electronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, Journal of Logic and Computation, Journal of The Electrochemical Society, Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Communications in Algebra, Suma and Phenomenology and the Cognitive Sciences.  

He has taught classes at the UJI, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, at the UNED and currently also at the UOC and has carried out research studies at the University of Calgary, at the University of Genova, at the Ohio University and at the Pompeu Fabra University.

Currently, his field of research is the application of Algebraic Topology to Economics.

PhD from Universitat Politècnica de València, with Bachelor of Science Degree & MSc in Mathematics (Universitat de València, Faculty of Mathematics), upper degree in Telecommunications Engineering - MSc (Universitat Politècnica de València) and Enterprise MBA (Accenture, USA). He has received national and international awards such as Winner of the Mathematical Olympiads or Best National STEM Project (ebusiness area); and management awards of different projects in the field of R&D from different universities in Spain. Concerning to his career, notably their occupation into High Performance Department in Accenture, highlighting his final position in management of Processes & Strategy Department in the company, where he achieved and held the chair of eBusiness Area. Since then, he coordinated and participated in a wide range of EU funded research projects like INTEROP (interoperability networks), SMARTV2G (Smart Grids), MOBINCITY (smart mobility, IA integrated), FISPACE (into FIWARE group), AAL (Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme) iCareCoops (Fostering Care Cooperatives in Europe by building an Innovative Platform with AAL-Driven Services) and ELIAI (Elderly Living Independently Ambient Intelligence), having a patent (CAPPD) on it. In addition to this, he held the position as Innovation Consulting Manager in Stratesys and head of the Research, Innovation & Development Area for CIT Group & associated startups,  Expert Member of European Commission (EC - Id EX2013D133553) and member of the Advisory Board of ISRLab - Information society Research Lab. He has been professor on MBA in University Jaume I of Castellón, lecturer in many Master's like MDE in University of Zaragoza, coordinator of eLearning platform for Universitat de València and IVEX and Quality & Process Manager for R&D Valencia Hospital, among many other interesting experiences in his career.

Graduated in Business Administration and Management, master's degree in Big Data and Business Intelligence and doctor in Industrial Economics from the University of Valencia. In his doctoral thesis, for which he received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award, he focused on the generation of tools and procedures to build quality datasets. He has participated in various research projects related to the generation of quality data and the proposal of socioeconomic indicators. Some examples are: “Understanding individual behavior in a dynamic context: Information, Culture and Institutions” (PID2021-128228NB-I00IP), funded by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation or “Information, context, characteristics and preferences: mediators of economic change And social. Create effective institutions and committed societies” (AICO/2021/257), funded by the Department of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society of the Generalitat Valenciana. As a member of the Research Group on Electoral Processes and Public Opinion (GIPEyOP) he has participated in the development of the SEA Database, the most complete database on electoral results in Spain. As director of the Research Group "Defense Economics, Cybersecurity and Protection", he has been the Principal Investigator of the project “A year of war in Ukraine: Spaniards' assessment of the conflict and its involvement in security and the economy”, funded by the Center for Sociological Research (CIS). It has participated in several contracts and transfer agreements, among which the service of identification and analysis of indicators for monitoring the economy of the Valencian Community stands out or the development of a system of functional indicators aimed at collecting, analyzing and transmitting information on the dynamics of culture at the local level.

(he/him) BSc in Mathematics from the University of Valencia. MSc in Actuarial and Financial Sciences from the University of Valencia. PhD in Business from the University of Barcelona. He currently works as a professor at the University from Valencia in the area of Applied Economics and as a technological consultant for the transformation of industry 4.0, optimization of production in factories with Big Data and improved customer service. Chartered actuary with 3+ years of experience training and deploying models of large-scale Machine Learning in multinational insurers for a more accurate customer pricing. Among his publications are methodologies based on Machine Learning to compare years with low mobility of the population (such as 2020 due to Covid-19), in order to rate more precisely to the insured. He also has publications applying and improving Quantile Regression algorithms to predict large risks in data telematics and in the valuation of financial assets with the objective of detect potential losses in portfolios. Finally, he studies interconnection of the financial markets to estimate the impact of anomalous events such as wars and financial crises in other countries.
