Rafael Granell, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Economics of the University of Valencia. He is the Director of the Public Economic Evaluation research group (EvalPub), a member of the Chair of Regional Taxation and of the Commission for the Study of Tax Reform in the Valencian Region and a researcher at RIFDE. His area of ​​research focuses on Public Economics, highlighting the following lines: economics of taxation, regional economics, fiscal federalism, poverty and inequality, economics of education and public economic evaluation. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals, such as Review of Economics of the Household, Service Industries Journal, Ageing & Society, Education Economics, Journal of Regional Research and Review of Public Economics. He has been a researcher in projects and contracts with several entities such as Spanish Social Security, Spanish Institute of Fiscal Studies, Generalitat Valenciana, IVIE and La Caixa Foundation.

Mauro Mediavilla is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia, associate researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB); the European Foundation for Society and Education and at the Public Economic Evaluation Research Group (EVALPUB). Doctor in Economics (2011). José Luís Moreno Becerra Award for the best Doctoral Thesis in Economics of Education (2013). He is currently president of the Association for the Economics of Education (AEDE). The main areas of interest are the determinants of academic performance and the evaluation of educational public policies. He has been a consultant at the Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO) and has been hired as an advisor in the Prometheus program of the government of Ecuador (period 2014-2015) and in the Spending Review (European Commission) project for Spain by the Independent Authority of Fiscal Responsibility (Airef) (period 2018 - 2019). He has also been part of the committee of experts for the review of scholarships in Spain that advises the Save the Children Foundation. He has made stays in different prestigious universities and research centres in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Hong Kong; Equator, Latvia and Romania. Likewise, he has participated in different competitive projects at the state and regional level uninterruptedly since 2005. Finally, he has more than 70 publications in indexed journals, books and book chapters.

Rubén Amo Cifuentes is currently working as a pre-doctoral researcher in training (FPU) in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia. He is also a PhD student in the Industrial Economics programme at the University of Valencia. He collaborates with the research group Public Economic Evaluation (EvalPub) and the Chair of Autonomous Taxation, both at the University of Valencia.

Rubén holds a degree in Economics from the University of Valencia, having received the Extraordinary Degree Award 2020. He has also completed a Master in Economic Policy and Public Economics at the University of Valencia. His line of research is based on Public Economics and Fiscal Federalism, specifically on impact assessment and microsimulation of wealth taxes.
