January 26, Aula Magna, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry: UV Welcome to 1,068 international students for the second term.
On Monday, January 26, the University of Valencia will officially welcome 1,068 students joining in the second term of the 2025-26 academic year. The sessions, organized by UVinternational, will take place in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, marking the beginning of their university experience in Valencia.
- At 9:00 a.m., for students from the Blasco Ibáñez Campus.
- At 11:30 a.m., for students from the Tarongers Campus and the Burjassot Campus.
During the event, international students will learn about the services, facilities, and activities offered by UV. As a new feature, both students and their home universities will receive the Certificate of Arrival by email, which in the case of Erasmus students will make it easier for their universities to process the corresponding financial aid promptly.

Throughout this academic year 2026, the University of Valencia will receive:
- 2,957 Erasmus students
- 269 SICUE students
- 174 students from the International Program
- 172 students from the European alliance FORTHEM
Services and campus life
The welcome sessions will feature the participation of the following university services:
- Servei de Llengües i Política Lingüística
- Servei d’Esports
- Centre de Idiomes (CDI)
- Erasmus Student Network (ESN)
- Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació
- UVdiscapacitat
In addition, Erasmus Student Network (ESN) will present its program of social, cultural, and volunteer activities after the welcome session.
Each faculty will also organize specific orientation sessions, tailored to the characteristics of each degree program.
