As part of its internationalization policy, Universitat de València actively promotes the signing of agreements with institutions worldwide. The process begins with the signing of a Framework Agreement, from which specific actions can be agreed upon for a defined period through a specific agreement. These agreements will be promoted by members of the various bodies of Universitat de València (Departments, Institutes, Schools, Faculties, etc.) in accordance with the regulations governing Framework Agreements approved by Universitat de València.
Procedure for the approval of a Framework Agreement
Initiative
The personnel interested in proposing a new agreement must submit the required documentacion to the International Relations Office, as specified in the Regulations for the Signing of Institutional Cooperation Agreements.
Processing
The proposal, along with the documentation, will be forwarded to the Office of the Vice-Principal for Internationalization and Multilingualism for review and subsequent processing.
Approval and signing
If the proposal is approved by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Internationalization and Multilingualism, it will be submitted to the University’s Council Board for its approval and subsequently signed by the Chancellor. The International Relations Service will publish on its website a list of the agreements approved by the Council Board and will send the signed original copy to the partner institution. Additionally, the representatives listed in the agreement will be informed of its approval.
