Academic Year 2014-2015

General information

To participate in the Erasmus mobility programme during the 2014-2015 academic year, students are required to demonstrate linguistic knowledge of the language of study at the host university. The minimum requirement is a B1 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:

Minimum level of B1 in English, French and German
Minimum level of A2 in Italian
    Portugal: no language requirement needed

The University of Valencia will host a GENERAL LANGUAGE TEST (English, French , Italian and German) for those who do not have the above language certification. This test will be held in December 2013 at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.

Sometimes the host university may require a higher level to be certified for the student. Therefore, the University of Valencia organizes a SPECIFIC LANGUAGE TEST in English and French in collaboration with the Center of Languages of the UV for the mobility program applicants who do not have this specific certification. Candidates who pass the test will receive a certificate at level B2 or C1.

Remember that in any case the student is responsible for fulfilling the language requirements of the host university.
