The keynote speaker for the event is assoc. prof. Andris Guļāns [Google Scholar, Orcid], leader of the Electronic Structure group (Quantum Theory group of the University of Latvia). Research interests: condensed matter, physics density functional theory, many-body perturbation theory.
The research of Physics at the University of Latvia will further be represented by the following researchers:
- Mihails Birjukovs [ResearchGate], Theoretical Physics (physics of soft materials, biological physics, hydrodynamics, quantum mechanics) group. Research interests: MTB swarms, bubble/particle MHD flow, neutron/X-ray/optical image analysis for multiphase flow and biophysical systems)
