Last September was held in Durango (Mexico) the VII International Seminar on Road Engineering "Road Safety in Land Routes" organized by the Mexican Association of Land routes.
The event, which aimed to develop science and technology in the roads from all points of view, brought together more than two thousand attendees and one thousand exhibitors. The researcher of Facthum-Lab Ms. Ana Martí-Belda Bertolín was invited as a speaker and discussed the importance of taking into account in the field of engineering drivers risk behaviours under her lecture entitled "Risk behaviours and re-education of drivers".
In closing the seminar, Enrique León de la Barra Montelongo, Delegate of the Secretary of Communications and Transportation in Durango, referred to the lecture presented by our research and joined the conviction that “the main cause of death in accidents is the behaviour of human beings, so there is a mission to educate our children, co-workers, and ourselves, since the traffic behaviour can be an example, pass it and double it, through which we can save millions of lives".
