Department: Sociology and Social Anthropology
Senior Lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology, and a PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. My research focuses on family relationships and gender. I have participated in numerous research projects on family policies, work–life balance and co-responsibility, and single-parent families, among other topics. I am currently analyzing parenting and care policies.
I have carried out research stays at New York University (USA), the University of York (UK), Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany), Universidad Nacional de Río Negro (Argentina), and Universidad de Santiago de Chile (Chile).
I lead the research group IPRODES – Research on Processes of Inequality (University of Valencia). In addition, I am a member of the REDIGER network – Research Network on Intersectionality, Gender and Practices of Resistance(Universidad de Chile), as well as the teaching innovation groups INNDES (UV) and CEFOCID (UB).
