David Bayona Cuallado is an Assistant Lecturer (Ayudante Doctor) in the Department of Marketing and Market Research at the University of Valencia. His research focuses on LGBTIQ+ cultural consumption, music consumer behaviour, corporate social responsibility, and educational innovation. He has presented his work at national and international conferences —including Nodos del Conocimiento and the AIMAC Doctoral Symposium in Arts and Cultural Management— and has developed an extensive record in knowledge transfer.
He is the author and co-author of several books on social responsibility, equal opportunities and non-profit management, such as Aplicación práctica de la responsabilidad social en la empresa (2022), Guía práctica de igualdad de oportunidades entre hombres y mujeres (2020), and Historias de la Dana (2025), alongside other publications addressing culture, memory, diversity and social inclusion . He has also produced applied studies on music consumption, identity and diversity.
David has served as Principal Investigator in more than twenty-five European Erasmus+ projects (KA220, KA210 and Capacity Building), leading transnational teams and promoting pedagogical innovation, sustainability and inclusion through applied research and international cooperation. He is also a reviewer for the European Journal of Marketing and the International Marketing Trends Conference.
In the field of teaching, he has lectured on marketing, commercial management, market research, ethics and corporate social responsibility across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University of Valencia, EDEM University Centre, and the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). He has coordinated the Marketing and Logistics module of the UV MBA for several academic years and supervised numerous Bachelor’s and Master’s theses as well as internship placements. His teaching practice is characterised by interdisciplinarity, active learning methodologies and the integration of critical perspectives on cultural consumption and diversity.
He has also delivered seminars, workshops and training programmes on sustainable business, artificial intelligence, culture and diversity, and has participated in multiple educational innovation projects related to project-based learning, co-creation and digital arts.
