Biography

Professor Rosanna Cantavella's specialises in Medieval Catalan Literature and Digital Humanities. She holds her chair at the Universitat de València and is also Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge.

In her long career she has been a pioneer in areas like the use of computers to Humanities research, the study of women in medieval literature, sex education in the Middle Ages, or rhyme theory within the troubadour tradition. She has undertaken her research on Isabel de Villena, Ausiàs March, Jaume Roig, Joan Roís de Corella and the medieval novel Tirant lo Blanc, among other subjects.
