Brief CV. Degree in Law (University of Valencia), PhD in Public Law (University of Valencia). The topic of my doctoral thesis was "Freedom of speech and Children protection in the Media. A juridical approach". Lecturer in Public Law. University of Valencia (Valencia, Spain). Lecturer in different postdoctoral programs in Communication and Bioethics. My research focuses on the juridical aspects of the Media and the digital technologies, and their impact on the constitutional rights. I have paid great attention to the protection of minors in the audiovisual landscape. In this field, I am also interested in how to protect the right to privacy, self-image, data protection and honor on the Internet, balancing these rights with the freedom of speech and the right to information. In addition to this, I have studied the juridical aspects of some bioethical and medical questions, such as the privacy and data protection of the patients, or the objection of conscience of the health professionals. I participated in different projects of investigation, financed by the local and national governments: Coordinated Project of Television and Childhood (2011-2012); Pluralism and contents in the new Spanish regulation of the Audiovisual Markets (2013-2016); or Criminal Law, Internet and Social Networks (2012-2015). I developed some research in short stays at the University of London (2008), the University of Oxford (2009), and the University of Cambridge (2016). In 2014, I visited the University of Glasgow in the frame of the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Programme. As a member of the advisory Board of iCmedia (one of the biggest association of Media consumers in Spain) I took part in the Parliamentary Debate about Children and Social Networks (2014), and participated in the recent reform of the criteria used to classify audiovisual contents on television, passed by the National Commision of Markets and Competence in July 2015. In connection with my areas of interest, I visit schools to give talks about Media Literacy to parents and children. I write regularly on the local press, on topics related with the freedom of speech and its limits. Finally, I am member of the Committee of Bioethics of a public hospital since 2010, being its chairman the last two years..
